Jawbreaker BRK is a freeware TrueType format font family created by, and Copyright by, Brian Kent of ÆNIGMA GAMES AND FONTS.

The included fonts with reserved names "Jawbreaker BRK" (using filename 'jawbreak.ttf', at version 1.05), "Jawbreaker Hard BRK" (using filename 'jawbhard.ttf', at version 1.30), "Jawbreaker OL1 BRK" (using filename 'jawbrko1.ttf', at version 1.10), and "Jawbreaker OL2 BRK" (using filename 'jawbrko2.ttf', at version 1.20) that are included in this distribution archive were created and released as a freeware font family by Brain Kent of ÆNIGMA GAMES AND FONTS.

This is a rounded black sans font that has an overexposed effect and uses a uniform letter height to produce a font with the lowercase as tall as the uppercase. The lowercase letters actually mirror the uppercase capitals, except for the a and e. The other included versions uses the same characters and design with simple style variations, Hard is rounder and not over exposed, OL1 is an outline version and OL2 offers the solid characters with an outline.

This font family supports upper case capitals, lowercase, numerals, and basic punctuation. This font would be appropriate for cartoons, posters and Tee Shirts.

This font family has a home at the Font-Journal at:

Commercial, professional, charitable or personal use of the included freeware font(s) is OK, even as a webfont.

Redistribution of the included font(s) is authorized by the author if it is not altered (no derrivatives are allowed), as long as it includes the original, unaltered and unedited "falsepositive.txt" text file, and the font is not sold (not even as a part of a larger collection), unless prior consent has been secured from the authoring designer.

For specific details on the use of this font, email the authoring designer, Brian Kent (see contact info in the ABOUT section that follows).

Font Tools:

If you would like to create your own original masterpeice font, get yourself a decent font editor and create your own font, I recommend Fontographer, although TypeTool might do the job, also. The FontLab Studio software package is also offered as the premium flagship typographic editing tool of Fontlab.

Submit Your Font to Font-Journal:

Be sure to submit any freeware or shareware TTF font that you create which we would be happy to distribute here. Any font that has a complete letterset...

A-Z, a-z, 0-9 &+~!@#$%^&*()_=-`"':;<>?/|\[{}],.

...that is freely distributable would be greatly apprectiated, especially if it is OK for commercial use. The more accented letters (for supporting foreign languages) and special characters available (especially bullets, ©, ®, ™ and special punctuation), the more complete and useful a font will be, to more people. Be sure to use a unicode letterset when you save your work or the font simply won't display right, here at Font-Journal. That's our most definitely our most important requirement.

About Font-Journal:

Font-Journal is a cataloged archive of freeware and shareware fonts that I maintain for my small business, start-up and freelancing clients. I try to collect PC truetype freeware fonts that can be used for commercial purposes, and shareware fonts that can be used for commercial purposes upon registration and/or payment of a fair shareware fee. I also try to collect freely distributable web fonts of the very same variety. The end result is a pretty decent font repository, although I can only work on it in my spare time, which I have little of. If my business takes off where I can afford a staff, I will have someone to tend to it more often.

About Me:

My portfolio usually needs to be updated, as I always have a ton of projects going and I even like to design my own fonts to offer exclusively through my font respository at Font-Journal. But it is another good way to contact me.

I started out as an motorcycle racer and mechanic. That didn't work out and I never got in a race car as planned. I wound-up as an illustrator, animator, doing some programming and tech support. Plus, I have always been an amatuer artist, photographer and videographer. I was designing logos, posters and graphics in college with Illustrator and Photoshop, and wound-up making a website portfolio just afterwards. A few people liked it and I wound-up as a freelance web design studio. Then I expanded into web hosting, with domain name registrations and servers added soon after, and offering a complete set of webmaster tools as Domain Hostmaster. I then added more stores for more diversity to offer the best possible options to my clientele and fellow professionals. HD Web Hosting and Site Host Pros offer an advanced business hosting platform at bargain prices. The Domainance store was added in an effort to keep the .name gTLD extension registrations and transfers available when our supplier dropped it, and continues to offer the New ICANN Era gTLD that the others don't offer.

Nowadays, I am just trying to corner a peice of the domain name registration and website hosting space, as I sell for less than almost anyone, and offer more, with better technical support. Professional domainers, designers, developers, optimizers and webmasters do like how I keep prices as low as possible and I add my expertise and further values where I can.
