By using or installing this software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
1: License Grant <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Number of Users: In consideration for the license fee paid, Ragnarok Press grants to you only, the<br />
<br />
Licensee, the non-exclusive, nontransferable right to use and display the Scriptorium product<br />
<br />
purchased through this service. If you are using this product for your work, this agreement<br />
<br />
applies to your employer.  Scriptorium software or image collections may be used on one CPU<br />
<br />
at your site connected to any number of printers or other image producing devices at that<br />
<br />
site.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Third Parties: You may send a copy of any font or image for which you hold a license along with<br />
<br />
your documents to a commercial printer or other service bureau to enable the editing or printing<br />
<br />
of your document, provided that such party agrees to erase those fonts or images from their<br />
<br />
storage media and accepts liability for any misuse or appropriation of the font or image. You may<br />
<br />
also "embed" TrueType format fonts within your documents for the viewing, editing, and<br />
<br />
printing of those documents.<br />

Modifications. You may not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or<br />
<br />
create derivative works based on the Scriptorium product without prior written consent from<br />
<br />
Ragnarok Press.<br />

<br />
Backups: You may make one (1) copy of this Scriptorium product solely for backup purposes<br />
<br />
provided the copyright and trademark notices are reproduced in their entirety on the backup<br />
<br />
copy.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Online Use of Images: Images included in this package may not be used in website design where<br />
<br />
unsecure access and transfer of images is possible.  Lower resolution versions of images may be<br />
<br />
used in such a design if they are at a resolution of a total pixel size no greater than one-fifth<br />
<br />
the dimensions of the original image.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Use of Images in Print: You may use any images you purchase in a printed product so long as<br />
<br />
the primary value of that product does not derive solely from the use of the images.  Use of images<br />
<br />
as illustrations or decorations in a book, magazine or other publication of text is permissible under<br />
<br />
this license.  Commercial use of images in calendars, as prints, on post cards, on greeting cards <br />
<br />
or in any other publication in which you are primarily reselling the art as art is prohibited without <br />
<br />
special permission from the publisher and the payment of a redistribution fee.  When using images<br />
<br />
in a publication you must include a statement indicating that copyright of any images you use is<br />
<br />
held by Ragnarok Press.<br />

Rights Reservation. All contents of this package are Copyright 1998 by Ragnarok Press.<br />
<br />
Ragnarok Press reserves all rights not specifically granted to Licensee.  <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
2: Copyright<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
This Scriptorium product and the accompanying materials are copyrighted and contain<br />
<br />
proprietary information and trade secrets of Ragnarok Press. Unauthorized copying of the product<br />
<br />
even if modified, merged, or included with other software, or of the written materials, is expressly<br />
<br />
forbidden. You may be held legally responsible for any infringement of Ragnarok Press<br />
<br />
intellectual property rights that is caused or encouraged by your failure to abide by the terms of<br />
<br />
this Agreement.<br />

<br />
3: Termination <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
This Agreement is effective until terminated. This Agreement will terminate automatically without<br />
<br />
notice from Ragnarok Press if you fail to comply with any provision contained herein. Upon<br />
<br />
termination, you must destroy the written materials, the Scriptorium roduct, and all copies of them, in<br />
<br />
part and in whole, including modified copies, if any. <br />
<br />

<br />
4: Upgrades <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Ragnarok Press periodically updates many Scriptorium products.  As a licensed user you are entitled<br />
<br />
to upgrades at a discounted upgrade price.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
5. Limited Warranty <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Ragnarok Press warrants the Scriptorium Product to be free from defects in materials and<br />
<br />
workmanship under normal use for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of delivery as shown<br />
<br />
on your invoice. Ragnarok Press entire liability and your exclusive remedy as to a defective<br />
<br />
product shall be, at Ragnarok Press option, either return of purchase price or replacement of any<br />
<br />
such product that is returned to Ragnarok Press with a copy of the invoice. Ragnarok Press shall<br />
<br />
have no responsibility to replace the product or refund the purchase price if failure results from<br />
<br />
accident, abuse or misapplication, or if any product is lost or damaged due to theft, fire, or<br />
<br />
negligence. Any replacement product will be warranted for thirty (30) days.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
In all other ways this product is provided "as is". Ragnarok Press does not make any warranty of<br />
<br />
any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to the implied warranties of<br />
<br />
merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.  Ragnarok Press does not warrant that the<br />
<br />
functions contained in the Scriptorium Product will meet your requirements or that the operation of<br />
<br />
the software will be uninterrupted or error free.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Under no circumstances and under no legal theory, tort, contract, or otherwise, shall Ragnarok<br />
<br />
Press or its suppliers or resellers be liable to you or any other person for any indirect, special,<br />
<br />
incidental, or consequential damages of any character including, without limitation, damages for<br />
<br />
loss of goodwill, work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all other commercial<br />
<br />
damages or losses.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
This Agreement represents the complete agreement concerning this license between the parties<br />
<br />
and supersedes all prior agreements and representations between them. It may be amended only<br />
<br />
by a writing executed by both parties. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be<br />
<br />
unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be reformed only to the extent necessary to<br />
<br />
make it enforceable.  This Agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the<br />
<br />
State of Texas.<br />
